Finger Writing

This exercise works well as a grounding exercise as it can be done subtly and involves physical sensation. It is very simple as it involves students using our fingers to lightly write a message on our legs. It could be a simple message such as 'I am ok.' or 'My name is ...' or it could be a deeper affirmation about how great you are. You could write something good about a partner on a partners hand and see if the partner can guess what you wrote.
